A Glimpse In My Future

When I walked in on this the other night, I couldn't help but feel I was getting a glimpse into life with a teenage Isla. Falling asleep writing in her diary. Sure, now they are just scribbles, but I am sure she was writing down some deep preschooler thoughts!

On the same note, I woke Isla for school the other morning and this is the conversation that went down:

Isla: Is it night time?
Me: No, it's morning.
Isla: I wanted to sleep.
Me: I know, you like to sleep.
Isla: I don't like waking up.


This girl, at three years old, is already so much NOT a morning person. I have to wake her up almost every day and on the days we don't have anything going on, she will easily sleep until close to 10. A couple weeks ago, she actually slept until almost noon! If only I could have slept in with her.
