A Preschool Valentine

Connor had his preschool valentines party yesterday. When I asked him if he was excited about it, he said he was going to get hearts from everyone. Obviously he wasn't quite getting the concept, but I am impressed that he knows hearts go with valentines day.

I got a little pinteresty on Connor's valentine. I found the idea, then made my own using picmonkey. I'm really pleased with how it came out...and it was cheap. So, a win for everyone!

Though I wasn't there for the party (it was kids only), it seems like they had fun. Connor said he made a cookie with m&ms on it and ate fruit and drank milk. He also made a couple paintings.

Connor came home with a bag full of valentines from the kids from his class. The bag doesn't look big, but he certainly ended up with way more candy than he needs. His favorite valentine was a twinkie decorated like a minion. And I am just thankful that a couple girls gave girly valentines so Isla had something because drama was starting when Connor didn't want to share, but Isla wanted something. And, well, Connor easily parted with the hello kitty items!

^^ I got a crack up out of the things Connor said he likes. Legos were no surprise, but cheerios were. And the minions, he refers to Despicable Me 2 as the "new minion movie" so I am guessing that is what that means.

Doing all this preschool stuff for the first time is so much fun. It seriously makes me want to be a preschooler! And Connor's teachers and school are so awesome, I wish I could leave him there forever.

  1. I love all of these photos! It is too funny he continued to put things in front of his face for them. Nixon totally does that too! Cute job with the valentine!
