I'm Raising a Genius...kind of

I thought I was raising a genius when Isla came to me today with a toy apple saying "apple". I was so proud. My daughter is amazing. Then a few minutes later, she brought me some more random plastic food and said "apple". I guess she isn't quite the genius that I thought. But on the bright side, she said a new word.
